Haagen Dazs Press Launch



We were asked by Haagen Dazs’ fantastic PR agency to deliver not just a drinks reception but a drinks reception that fit well with the new limited edition floral Haagen Dazs ice cream. We explored floral cocktails but didn’t want to take the emphasis off the incredible new ice cream flavour. With Haagen Dazs’ chief taster and mind professor at the event, we had to provide a menu that balanced well with the samples given out.
We suggested to brand our bar front to match the event and was sent some snippets of artwork to take bits and bobs from and to include #floralornothing

For the flavours that didn’t interrupt the ice cream’s lime light, we sourced a prosecco with light qualities as well as served apple & elderflower non alcoholic spritz. Loading times were an issue for Liberty London so a drop off at 7:30am had to be undertaken and then the team reassembled later in the afternoon to set up the bar in the shoe hall of Liberty just 1 hour before the doors opened.

Having the snippets of artwork from the new ice cream tub, we set to work trying to extract different elements of it to fit onto our bar front. With quite a lot of artwork to choose from, we sent over 10 options for the client to choose from, when they were happy, we blew up the image to size and fitted it to a front. It looked great on the bar which was one of the focal points in the room at Liberty.

We knew it was going to be a busy event, being about ice cream and all and we weren’t wrong. With a great attendance we served drinks to journalists, bloggers, vloggers and a couple of Made in Chelsea stars. Luckily we always bring extra stock as it was definitely needed.
